  About RedevelopmentSites.com

This site was created to help developers and businesses identify redevelopment opportunities in Greater Cincinnati. Historically, industrial development in the area was located primarily in communities through the center of Hamilton County and within the Mill Creek watershed district. Due to a number of factors, many large properties in these areas do not have a positive impact on their community. Some of these sites may be considered brownfields. Others are simply vacant or underutilized properties that, with an injection of attention and capital, could be attractive development options. We hope to create an awareness of these sites and the development potential inherent in them.

Redevelopment of urban sites provides many benefits to the Greater Cincinnati region. It helps stabilize and preserve the urban core of our community. It provides job opportunities to area residents. It helps stabilize the tax base of smaller communities while reducing blight. It increases reinvestment in urban communities through direct investment and multiplier spending. It helps preserve farmland and greenspace while limiting urban sprawl. Finally, it helps clean our natural resources like the Mill Creek.

We hope you enjoy this site and find it useful in identifying redevelopment opportunities for your business.

Communities interested in promoting redevelopment opportunities on this site should contact Greg Kathman at Hamtilton County Development Company (513 631-8292, gkathman@hcdc.com)
